Ministry of Law and Human Rights (Kemenkumham) launched the National Discipline Movement and kicked-off the celebration week of Dharma Karyadhika Day 2018 at the open court of the Ministry, Wednesday (3/10).
The launching of National Discipline Movement is expected to reinforce and embrace the values of Professional, Accountable, Synergy, Transparent, and Innovative (Profesional, Akuntabel, Sinergi, Transparan dan Inovatif - PASTI) to be part of the work culture.
The Minister of Law and Human Rights, Yasonna H. Laoly expressed his hope that the movement would shift the mindset of State Civil Apparatus (ASN) of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights to put in performance encouraging national development.
For 2018, the Dharma Karyadhika Day (HDKD) is hauling the theme “Work Synergy – We are PASTI” and Squirrel as the mascot. A Squirrel represents witty, agile, tough, and persistent character.
“We may infer that we should become Apparatus that are capable of working hard, collaborating as well as being devoted to the state and nation,” said Yasonna H. Laoly in his remarks.
Apart from launching the National Discipline Movement and mascot of the HDKD 2018, the event also presented a parade of contingent from 11 units of the Ministry.
According to the Secretary of Directorate General of Intelellectual Property (Secretary of DGIP), R. Natanegara in his report said that to celebrate the HDKD 201 philantropy programs such as free mass circumcision surgery and donation to orphans were also held in Cibulan, Bogor.
“We are organizing legal expo, sport competition, rewarding night, Kemenkumham Care, data center launch, and art performance to prove the spirit of actual work as the slogan of the ministry,” he added.
The event was closed by raising funds for the victims of natural disaster that occured in Donggala, Central Sulawesi.
